I’m Rick Fletcher, a professor of chemistry at University of Idaho, a mid-sized research university. Before that, I was a research scientist at University of Colorado in Boulder and before that, I got my PhD in Chemistry at University of California – Davis. Long long ago, I was an undergraduate at Washington State University. Between my BS and my PhD, I taught high school chemistry, physics and math for a short time in the state of Washington. I live in the Palouse region of the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I straddle the border of Idaho and Washington.
